The Toy Soldier:
On a personal level, Army veteran Peter Rice was instrumental in launching my lifelong journey in games. A veteran of the Vietnam War turned avid board gamer, Peter created a sense of camaraderie for a diverse community of gamers at his personal HQ, a store called the Toy Soldier, where he welcomed all and tirelessly shared hard earned life lessons. Sadly Peter is no longer with us, but his legacy and that of many other veterans continues to inspire to this day.
